Ragland wins oil painting

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Art Association member Marilee Ragland won an oil painting in the association’s scholarship fund raffle at FAA’s general meeting on Sept. 11, at Fallbrook School of the Arts.

As she painted, demonstrating artist Catherine Grawin stressed the importance of establishing values rather than focusing on color, which she continued to incorporate during her oil painting workshop the following Sunday.
