Fire Prevention Open House Oct. 4 in Fallbrook

FALLBROOK – North County Fire Protection District is holding a Fire Prevention Open House on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station 1, 315 E. Ivy St.

Residents can see the latest in fire-resistive construction including fire gel, windows, roofing and ember-resistant vents as well as fire resistant landscaping, brush abatement, and residential fire sprinklers.

The Fire Safe Council, North Comm/Dispatch 911 Program for Kids and CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) will be on hand with disaster preparedness information.
