FALLBROOK - A swarming and overwhelming defensive effort lifted the Fallbrook Pop Warner Jr. Midget Warriors team to victory over Murrieta on Saturday, Oct. 25. Playing on Murrieta's home field did not deter the Warriors from victory.
For the fourth time this season, the strong Warrior defense held their opponent scoreless. The Murrieta offense never got inside the 15-yard line.
Drew Calloway led the offense with three rushing touchdowns for the Warriors.
The Jr. Midget Warriors will now play for the championship against Scripps Ranch on Nov. 1. Earlier in the season, the Warriors had a decisive win over Scripps Ranch.
