RIVERSIDE - Two Riverside County residents who just returned from West Africa are being monitored for signs and symptoms of Ebola, though the individuals are considered ''low-risk'' candidates for carrying the virus, health officials said today.
According to the county Department of Public Health, the residents, whose identities were withheld, traveled to one of the three countries most heavily impacted by the Ebola outbreak -- Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. When they returned and how much time they spent overseas were not disclosed.
