The remains of Fallbrook’s own Ice Age bison can be viewed up close in the CalTrans District 11 Office lobby through the end of this year. The office is located at 4050 Taylor Street, San Diego, 92010, and is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The bones are scheduled to be returned to the San Diego Natural History Museum (SDNHM) in January with no set date for an exhibit there, so now is a good time to see them.
