Betty Riggs

Betty Riggs passed away peacefully on November 23, 2014. She was born on August 2, 1923 in Pasadena, Calif. After graduating high school, she went to work as a bookkeeper on Cannery Row in Monterey.

She worked until she was 85, early on as a bank teller, a bookkeeper, then at the Community Center, and the Senior Center in Fallbrook.

She is survived by her son, Tom Riggs of Oxnard; niece Orolie Gubser of Fallbrook; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her family and friends will miss her winning smile, her delightful sense of humor, and her special outl...
