Car club donates to Save Our Forest, Fallbrook Villa Soccer

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club, (FVCC) recently presented donations to two organizations – Save Our Forest and the Fallbrook Villa Soccer Girls U9 team.

FVCC feels strongly about Save Our Forest and its role in the beauty of Fallbrook. Trees are a valuable asset, creating a calm and charming attractiveness throughout Fallbrook.

Save Our Forest has planted more than 2,650 trees in Fallbrook and more than 200 trees on Main Ave. since 1994. Their goal is to plant and maintain trees, to nurture, to provide energy-saving shade and create a more beautiful environment for all residents.

FVCC’s donation to Save Our Forest will be used to fund pruning by a professional arborist and to support a major 1.1-mile rehabilitation project on South Mission Rd.

The Fallbrook Villa Soccer Girls U9 team also received a donation recently from the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club.

FVCC members said they are always happy to contribute needed monies for aspiring non-profit groups throughout the Fallbrook community.

The Fallbrook Villa Soccer Girls U9 team has been doing quite well in the playoffs this season. The girls are currently holding on to a first place position in their division.

Head coach Sergio Garcia said, “The girls play two to three games per tournaments.”

This donation will be used to help purchase tournament supplies, fees, registrations, and sweatshirts with inscribed names of each player.
