FALLBROOK – On Nov. 16, Fallbrook resident Marilee Ragland was presented with a California State Award of Merit for Exemplifying and Promoting Excellence in Visual Arts Education at the California Art Education Association (CAEA) State Conference in Irvine.
Ragland, an artist and art teacher, has been an active member of the CAEA since 1989. Each year she participates in the Youth Art Month exhibit where she enters some of her students’ artworks to be displayed for the month of February at the San Diego Art Institute.
