Rainbow MWD approves contract to replace finance and billing software

The Rainbow Municipal Water District will be replacing the district’s finance and utility billing software.

A 5-0 Rainbow board vote Nov. 18 approved a $155,324 contract with Springbrook Software to provide the upgraded programs.

“It’s an important part of operating the district,” said Rainbow general manager Tom Kennedy. “It’s critical to the operations of the district to be able to keep the bills straight.”
