Abood, Porter inducted as coaching legends

Rick Abood concluded his Marine Corps career at Camp Pendleton after his tour of duty in Vietnam. Bill Porter began his Marine Corps stint with three years at Camp Pendleton before being one of the first Marines to be sent to Vietnam. On Nov. 12, both Abood and Porter were inducted as Coaching Legends as part of the San Diego County High School Coaching Legends induction banquet at the Scottish Rite Center in San Diego.
