Fallbrook High School’s boys cross-country team held its end-of-season awards ceremony Nov. 12 at the Bob Burton Performing Arts Center, and the awards included Most Valuable runner recognition for junior Sam Comerford.
“He definitely deserved that,” said Fallbrook head coach Marco Arias. “There was just no question, him stepping up and taking on the number one spot.”
Fallbrook’s top runner was expected to be senior Elijah Roque, but a bruised knee kept Roque from competing during the season.
