More Complexity wins Betty Grable Stakes

More Complexity became the first San Luis Downs Training Center horse to win a stakes race during the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club’s Bing Crosby Season meet when the three-year-old filly won the Betty Grable Stakes on Nov. 9.

The horse trained by Edward Freeman and owned by Reddam Racing, LLC, had a time of 1:22.51 in the seven-furlong race for California bred or sired fillies and mares three years old and upward.

“Nothing wrong with that,” Freeman said of being the first San Luis Rey trainer to win a stakes race at the Bing Crosby Season meet.
