James Michael "Mike" Choate

Former elementary school superintendent James Michael Choate, better known as "Mike," passed away on November 28, 2014 at home, surrounded by his wife and children.

Mike was a great educator and mentor. Many colleagues are indebted for his leadership and modeling the essence of a great teacher and principal. His interest in the careers of his coworkers had far-reaching effects.
