Adult day care offers respite care for caregivers

FALLBROOK - Adult day care is a planned program of activities designed to promote well-being through social and recreational activities in a non-medical, secure location. The Foundation for Senior Care’s adult day care center operates during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, in a safe, supportive, cheerful environment. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided by “The Club.” Lunch is provided by the caregiver.

Adult day care centers can be public or private, non-profit or for-profit. The intent of an adult day care center is primarily two-fold:
