Karavitch, DuPont and Young reach round of 16 at CIF tournament

Three Fallbrook High School singles players and three Fallbrook doubles teams participated in the CIF girls tennis individual tournament Nov. 10-15 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.

Fallbrook sophomore Alyssa Karavitch reached the round of 16 in singles play. The Fallbrook doubles team of senior Rebecca DuPont and junior Maddie Young reached the round of 16 in that portion of the CIF tournament.

“We did very well,” said Fallbrook coach Dave Ramirez.
