Non-fiction book club, lecture series at the library

FALLBROOK – On Monday, Feb. 9, at 1 p.m. the Insight Book Club will discuss “Can’t we talk about something more pleasant?” with New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast at the Fallbrook Library.

This unique, adult, non-fiction book club meets monthly and read books on biography, history, travel and current topics. This month, Chast, in her memoir, brings her signature wit to the topic of aging parents, with photos, documents and drawings that chronicle her parents’ progress towards that “long goodbye”.
