Thanks for supporting the whole team

I wanted to thank Village News photographer Shane Gibson for his photos of the Fallbrook varsity boys basketball team in the Jan. 22 edition.

Shane took photos of the players on the bench. Unlike many coaches, the FUHS coach plays only a few players. Those on the bench put in a great deal of effort, sacrifice, and time but do not get any recognition.

This is not the NBA. These are not paid players. The only reward they get is playing time. Thank you for your photos, Shane Gibson! The players on the bench are indeed part of the team.
