In a high school wrestling dual meet, a victory by pin is worth six team points, a technical fall (if a wrestler is ahead by at least 15 points) provides five points, a win by major decision (eight points or more) gives four points to the winner’s school, and a victory by decision adds three points to the winner’s team score.
