Frank Patchett was born in Los Angeles in 1931, the first of his siblings to be born in this country. He served as a sailor in the Korean War and on the Los Angeles Police Department for 33 years, retiring as an Area Commanding Officer and moving to Fallbrook in 2000.
He was a devoted member of Wilshire and Fallbrook Rotary Clubs, Devil Pups Inc. and the Navy League of Pasadena. In Los Angeles, he served on the Salvation Army Advisory Boards, the Franciscan Health Center Board and managed the Los Angeles Police Department’s Bag Pipe Band.
