Church holding restoration fundraiser

FALLBROOK – First Christian Church is holding a bake sale and raffle on Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., to raise funds and awareness for the church building which needs extensive repairs. The fundraiser will be on the corner of Fig Street and South Mission Road, on the grounds of the church which was built in 1887.

The roof needs replacing; the electrical system is from the early 1900’s and needs updating; and the plumbing is rusting through. The congregation has been working hard to take care of all her needs, but the older members have limited resources with which to work. Total c...
