Motorcycle and car collide leaving exposed live wires on S. Mission

A motorcycle collided with a vehicle at 1535 S. Mission Rd. at about 3 p.m. today, Thursday, March 19. The vehicle then hit a light pole according to CHP communications which indicated the pole was down with live wires exposed. The motorcycle rider was conscious but possibly injured. One lane was open in each direction at as emergency crews dealt with the situation.

The light post came crashing to the ground exposing live electrical wires.

Injuries to the rider are not clear as of press time....
