Sheriff's deputies search for parolee near Fallbrook High School

At approximately 8:30 a.m. this morning, Sheriff's deputies deployed the ASTREA helicopter to help search for a parolee living in Fallbrook. According to Sheriff's Sgt. Patrick Yates, Fallbrook deputies were conducting compliance checks this morning on individuals that are on monitored parole status when they went to a home near Fallbrook High School where one lives.

"When he became aware that deputies were at the home, he took off out a back door, in his pajamas," said Yates. "We asked to have the helicopter go up to aid in the search for him."
