Dr. Frank Winton was sworn in to the Fallbrook Healthcare District (FHD) board of directors as a replacement to Lynette Shumway on Wednesday, March 11. Shumway felt it necessary to vacate her position because her employment obligations took her out of the community for extended periods of time.
The term filled by Winton extends to the general election of November 2016. Five individuals presented letters of interest in application to fill the current board vacancy. The board interviewed each candidate at the March 11 board meeting.
