Boys swim opens season with 101-69 home victory over Wildcats

Prior to Fallbrook High School's boys swim opener March 5 at home against El Camino, the last interscholastic competition for a Warrior boys aquatics team was on Nov. 22, when Fallbrook's boys water polo squad won the CIF Division II championship. The Warrior mermen and coach Bill Richardson resumed their winning ways to begin the swim season with a 101-69 victory over the Wildcats.

"It was a big win for us," Richardson said.

"I was very pleased. We have a lot of young freshman swimmers," Richardson said. "I didn't know exactly how well they would do."
