Planning Commission approves Vista Valley Pool Center

The county's Planning Commission approved a Major Use Permit for a pool center for the Vista Valley Country Club.

The Planning Commission's 6-0 vote March 13, with David Pallinger absent, also recommended that an open space easement on the property be vacated.

Although the Planning Commission has the authority to issue a Major Use Permit and the San Diego County Board of Supervisors would hear such a request only in the event of an appeal or if a rezoning or general plan amendment is involved, an easement vacation must be approved by the Board of Supervisors.
