Fire on Camp Pendleton results in smoke coming into Fallbrook

A fire on Camp Pendleton is currently causing smoke to drift into the Fallbrook community.

According to North County Fire Protection District, a fire is currently located on one of Camp Pendleton's impact ranges. According to authorities, the current onshore breeze is causing smoke to drift heavily across Fallbrook. (as of Friday, April 17, 4 p.m.)

It has been stated that Camp Pendleton Fire is monitoring the situation and that there is no current threat to the Fallbrook or De Luz area....
