UPDATE: Motorcyclist involved in fatal accident identified as Fallbrook man

A Fallbrook man lost his life in a solo motorcycle crash last night, Monday, April 27, in Bonsall.

Westley Anthony Roberts, 45, was riding his 2010 Victory Cross Country motorcycle at about 7:53 p.m. westbound on Camino del Rey when the accident happened. According to the San Diego Medical Examiner, Roberts was driving at a high rate of speed and had passed three other motorists in his lane as he approached the intersection of Camino Del Cielo. Roberts then lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected.

Roberts' body struck a mail box and a palm tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
