Boyle named Eagle Scout of the Year

FALLBROOK – The Santa Margarita District of the Boy Scouts of America recently recognized John Boyle as its 2015 Eagle Scout of the Year. Boyle received the honor for his exemplary service and leadership to others, both in Scouting and his community.

Boyle, who credits scouting with developing his leadership skills, went from volunteering as a camp counselor in 2012 to being a scout skills director this year. He is a member of Fallbrook Troop 739 which is sponsored by Zion Lutheran Church.
