Arnold collects food for pets

FALLBROOK – For her community project at Sullivan Middle School, eighth grader Remy Arnold, 13, set a goal of $100 in pet food donations to donate to the Fallbrook Food Pantry. She wanted low income people to get pet food too, keeping their pets home and then being able to use that money elsewhere rather than donating to the animal sanctuary as those pets have lost their homes already.

In three hours, on April 18, she received well over $450 in cash and pet food donations, well exceeding her goal. She had planned on three more events and still plans on doing them. Remy is very grateful for the...
