Five-run inning gives Warriors win in Valley League opener

Fallbrook High School's baseball team opened Valley League competition April 13 with a 9-4 home win over Ramona.

The Warriors scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning after the Bulldogs scored four times in the top of the fifth to tie the game at 4-4.

"I'm pleased. Very proud of the kids for sure," said Fallbrook coach Patrick Walker.

Andy White threw a complete game for the Warriors. He shut out the Bulldogs for the first four innings before Ramona erased Fallbrook's 4-0 lead with the four runs in the top of the fifth.
