FALLBROOK – The 11th annual Fallbrook A Leer, held March 21 at the Maie Ellis auditorium and campus, of the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District, was a success.
The event is 100 percent volunteer driven and funded by donations from local businesses, individuals, the Current Wisdom Foundation, and the Cesar Chavez Foundation.
At this year's Fallbrook A Leer, over 2,000 books were donated and distributed to families. Over 100 students volunteered their time, giving over 400 hours of service, some including leadership of key aspects of the event.
