I always thought cream puffs must be a very complicated item to make, before I made my first batch. It was my mother-in-law who told me that they were actually one of the simplest things to make and gave me the courage to try it.

With only four ingredients involved in making the basic puff itself, I was amazed there wasn't any yeast involved. I always thought light, airy, bread-like items must involve yeast. Not so.
