Motorcyclist has fatal accident on Reche Road

A 40-year-old man from Downey suffered fatal injuries in a solo motorcycle accident last night, Wed., May 13, in Fallbrook.

At approximately 11:35 p.m., the man was riding his 2014 BMW F800S motorcycle eastbound on Reche Road just west of Gird Road when the accident took place.

According to CHP public information officer Jim Bettencourt, the man was traveling at an unknown speed when he approached a curve in the roadway, failed to negotiate it and ran off the road.
