Our Governor Jerry Brown seems to be asleep at the wheel while our thirst grows.
Without urging from us the citizens and affected people of this state, nothing will be done to increase our water supply.
We must "tap" into all available remedies to bring water t the people now. The only thing that Brown is bringing to us is the so called "Water Police." This is no remedy, nor is it leadership.
Brown should immediately schedule a meeting with the best and brightest (not bureaucrats), to find a way to plan and build desalination plants, storage facilities and pipe lines from water rich states. Fast track this now. It can be done.
We must act now or there is a likelihood of disaster next year. I urge readers to call, fax or e-mail our so-called leaders. The number to do so is as follows:
Telephone to Gov. Brown: (916) 445-2841
Email: www.gov.ca.gov - use the webform on the contact page
Fax: (916) 558-3160
