42 divers compete at 11-Dive Championship Meet

A total of 42 divers competed in the 11-Dive Championship Meet competition May 9 at the Fallbrook High School pool.

"That was more divers than what we've had in a long time,"

said meet organizer Sean Redmond, who is also Fallbrook High School's diving coach. "I have a feeling that a lot of it has to do with the state meet."

A CIF state swimming and diving meet May 23 in Clovis will be the first state meet for swimming and diving. "It's the first one. After this year you can never say that you were at the first state meet," Redmond said.
