Radar-enforced 45 mph speed limit on West Lilac Road approved

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors took the first step towards enacting a 45 mph speed limit on West Lilac Road which will be certified for radar enforcement.

A 3-0 Board of Supervisors vote May 13, with Greg Cox involved in California Coastal Commission matters and Ron Roberts delayed following a Red Cross event earlier that morning, approved the introduction and first reading of the ordinance for the speed limit and radar enforcement for the 4.4-mile distance from Camino Del Rey to Old Highway 395.
