Senior couple crashes on motorcycle, both sustain major injuries

A senior couple crashed on a Harley Davidson motorcycle over the weekend and sustained major injuries.

According to CHP public information officer, Jim Bettencourt, the accident occurred on Saturday, May 30, at about 1:10 p.m. on STate Route 76 just east of Rincon Ranch Road.

"A 66-year-old male from Whittier was riding his 2005 Harley Davidson Road King westbound on SR-76 east of Rincon Ranch Rd. with his 56-year-old wife as passenger; as they approached a curve in the road they were unable to negotiate it and hit the dirt shoulder where they lost control," explained Bettencourt.
