Savages celebrate 60 years of marriage

FALLBROOK – Jeannine and Chuck Savage of Fallbrook will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on June 4.

The couple met on a blind date arranged by Jeannine's sister. Courting included much dancing at the Hollywood Palladium to the big bands of the era. Early homes were in Compton, Lakewood, and Westminster, Calif., followed by 23 years in New York and now 23 more in Fallbrook. The marriage produced two daughters and two grandchildren....
