Fallbrook woman killed in Oceanside crash

Update: Friends have said that the victim was Cathe Guerra of Fallbrook.

FALLBROOK – The cause of three-vehicle chain reaction crash in Oceanside that left a woman dead remained under investigation today. The victim is said to be a Fallbrook resident, although her identity has not been released by the Medical Examiner's Office.

The victim's eastbound 2003 BMW SUV veered into oncoming traffic on North River Road near Stallion Drive around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday and crashed head-on into a westbound 2015 Toyota Rav4, Oceanside police Sgt. Ignacio Lopez said. The BMW's driver became trapped in her SUV....
