PAUMA - A chase on Thursday, June 18, ended with the arrest of a 20-year-old man with an outstanding felony arrest warrant. He was taken into custody in Pala today after leading San Diego County sheriff's deputies on a vehicle chase when they tried to apprehend him at the Pauma Indian Reservation.
Deputies from the sheriff's Valley Center Substation tried to contact Dire Aguilar about 4:25 p.m., but as they arrived at the reservation, Aguilar drove past them, said sheriff's Sgt. James McConnaughey.
The deputies tried to stop Aguilar's vehicle, but he failed to yield and sped away, heading west...
