Sheriff's probation compliance sweep July 9 finds all subjects adhering to law

When detectives members of the Fallbrook Sheriff's substation crime suppression team conducted a probation compliance sweep on Thursday, July 9, they found all subjects contacted were adhering to their terms of release.

According to Sheriff's Sgt. Patrick Yates, the checks were done from 6 p.m. to midnight. "[We] conducted compliance checks on ten Fallbrook residents. All of the compliance checks were done on known offenders and AB-109 (Assembly Bill 109) early release probationers. Those targeted were identified through crime and intelligence analysis as individuals most likely to re-offend. No violations were noted and no arrests were made. All those targeted were determined to be in comliance with the terms of their probation."

After checking on the probationers, the detectives and Crime Suppression Team deputies conducted directed patrol in Fallbrook and the surrounding communities.

"During the detail, nine field interviews were written on individuals suspected of criminal potential," said Yates.
