FALLBROOK – One of Sue Thorne's most memorable trips was a thrilling two-week trip to Nepal billed as "Mountain, River, Tiger" with Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT) over Christmas and New Year 1995. "When I read the first horrific news reports of the earthquake that hit Nepal in April, and again in May, my thoughts slipped back to 20 years ago, and my heart went out to those kind and gentle people whose families and homes were destroyed by one of Nature’s unkindest cuts," Thorne said.
