Cal State San Marcos receives renewal of $1.4 million in federal funding for first-generation, low-income, and disabled students

SAN MARCOS - Cal State San Marcos announced today (August 5) a $1.4 million renewal of federal funding to support first-generation, low-income and disabled students over the next five years.

The money from the U.S. Department of Education will pay for the university's TRiO Student Support Services program, which assists around 200 students with a higher risk of dropping out than others.
