Berberet, White named all-CIF

The panel of sportswriters and coaches who selected the all-CIF baseball teams June 8 placed Fallbrook High School first baseman Reese Berberet on the all-CIF first team and Fallbrook pitcher and outfielder Andy White on the second team.

"We haven't had that in a long time in the program," Fallbrook coach Patrick Walker said of two all-CIF players.

"I'm happy about it," Berberet said. "Very happy that I was able to make that team."

"Very happy. Things just came alive this year compared to the last three. Everything just clicked. My performances on the mound just worked out," White said.
