Warrior girls rugby banquet honors players

Fallbrook High School's girls rugby club held its post-season banquet May 27 at the Fallbrook High School cafeteria.

"It went as well as it could have gone," said Fallbrook coach Craig Pinnell.

The banquet included the graduating seniors giving speeches about their rugby experience. "The senior speeches were really great," Pinnell said.

"Rugby is a game like life. You're knocked down, but you get up and try it again," Pinnell said. "What came through in the speeches is that they saw it like that."
