The Fallbrook Public Utility District approved the replacement of its older vactor truck.
A 4-0 FPUD board vote June 22, with Milt Davies absent, approved the purchase of a Haaker Equipment Company vactor truck for $406,793.88 including sales tax.
"We had recently completed an asset management study for all of Fallbrook's heavy equipment to ensure compliance with air quality regulations, and this new vactor truck replaces the nearly 20 year old piece of equipment that no longer meets air quality standards," said FPUD general manager Brian Brady.
