LaRussa successful in grant application for BHS flag football equipment

Sara LaRussa was an eighth-grader at Sullivan Middle School in April when she applied for an NFL FLAG grant from USA Football. When the school year commences later this month, LaRussa will be a ninth-grader at Bonsall High School and will be helping the Legionnaires develop a flag football program.

"She was one of many students who gave back to the community in some way," said Bonsall High School principal Lee Fleming. "She did it in, I kind of think, an amazing way."
