Sheriff's Dept. makes $10,000 marijuana bust in downtown Fallbrook area

Authorities with the Fallbrook Sheriff's substation have reported that an early morning operation today, Thurs., Sept. 10, in the downtown Fallbrook area resulted in the seizure of over $10,000 of marijuana-related products.

According to Detective Sgt. Patrick Yates, officers served two search warrants at approximately 5 a.m. this morning.

"Members of the San Diego Sheriff's Department simultaneously served search warrants at two locations - 412 S. Main Avenue and 635 S. Vine Street," said Yates. "This was the result of an ongoing investigation into an unlicensed and illegal medical marijuana...
