Parolee taken into custody after search and chase near Live Oak Park

FALLBROOK - Several units from the Sheriff's department with the assistance of the ASTREA helicopter and a K-9 Unit, were chasing a parolee in the Los Alisos Dr. area near Live Oak Park tonight from about 7 pm to 8:30 pm.

According to San Diego Sheriff Lt. Jim Bolwerk, there was an incident on Thursday, Oct. 8, in which a parolee was suspected of stealing a car. The Sheriffs were searching for him tonight in order to revoke his parole.

The search took place in the 2000 block of Los Alisos where the parolee had been sighted as well as the surrounding area. Lt. Bolwer
