FPUD a pick-up site for rain barrel program

FALLBROOK – On Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fallbrook Public Utility District (FPUD) will be a pick-up spot for the rain barrel program.

Rain barrels can be purchased for $85/each on the website: www.rainbarrelprogram.org/sandiego. Deadline to order is Nov. 29. Those purchasing barrels should do so, print out the receipt, and apply for the $75 rebate per barrel immediately afterward at www.socalwatersmart.com. Maximum number of rebates is four. The rebate check takes approx. five weeks to arrive in the mailbox.
